Trading for 21 years, Browse Inn is a large warehouse full of interesting old furniture.
 Come inside and you will find lounge suites, wardrobes, beds, dressing tables, bedsides, hallstands, china cabinets, bookcases, washstands, chairs, chests of drawers, occasional tables, desks plus always lots of silky oak furniture, restored or unrestored.
All of our furniture has been personally sourced from around the south east region by our licensed buyers who have a vast knowledge of antiques and old furniture alike. We buy privately and are looking for more furniture to add to our stock all year round.
There is a large section of restoration supplies including instructions, if you are a ‘do it yourself’ person (along with a free step by step brochure on furniture restoration) or you may prefer to take advantage of our professional restoration service.
Furniture Maintenance
 Our restoration supplies include all you will need to restore your treasured ‘piece’ such as paint strippers and scrapers, metho, steel wool, linseed oil, beeswax, turpentine, elm gum turpentine, wax sticks, fillers, stains, shellac and varnishes.
For furniture maintenance and rejuvenation we recommend Howard products - a restored look can be achieved without stripping and repolishing! The three easy products to use in this range are Restor’A’Finish available in all colours, Feed ’N’ Wax and Orange Oil, all of which you will find in our restoration section.
We also carry quality brand names: Traditional Hardware Co, Superior Brass, Watson Brass, Williams Brass, DWBH, Howard Products, Feast Watson, Intergrain, Cabots, Sifa, Diggers, Jacpol, Inca, KCB, Miller Scratch Fix Pens and Bahco Paint Scrapers as well as many more.
In stock is a very extensive range of brass and antique cabinet fittings, perfect for traditional Queenslander style homes and workers cottages plus contemporary house renovations. Take home brochures are also available free of charge.
To add finishing touches we stock decorative items such as leadlight lamps, beautiful bed quilts, pillows, tassels, mirrors, china old and new, jewellery boxes, photo frames, glasses, clocks, umbrella stands, walking sticks and old tin signs.
 Browse Inn is a place to see quality, solid, old furniture such as silky oak, English oak cedar, maple, mahogany, blackwood, walnut and pine etc. Makers’ names include Rosenstengal, John Hicks and Co, Bell Bros and Trittons. Our prices are low to attract quick turnover.
